Vic is an editor and writer with over 15 years of experience of creating and editing content for news, entertainment, and sports websites. 

Vic served for over a decade as the executive director of The Service Dealers Association, a national trade group in the lawn and garden equipment industry. He left the University of Texas at Arlington in his junior year to join the organization, leading it until 2006. During his tenure, Vic negotiated partnership deals with companies including Sears and Federated Insurance, and wrote columns for industry trades Lawn and Landscape Magazine and Outdoor Power Equipment Magazine.

He began freelance writing in 2005 for Yahoo News, writing hundreds of articles for the site until 2014. He also served as editor-in-chief for The North Texas High School Sports Report from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, he signed on for a year-long stint as a “Community Voices” columnist for The Dallas Morning News, writing a monthly column and even contributing columns after the stint ended. From 2008-2010, he also served as a Dallas correspondent for 10Best.com, and offered a monthly list of the city's "Top Ten" events.

In 2010, he was chosen by Sports Illustrated as one of ten writers to create a “Sport Fan Guide” for a major U.S city. Vic wrote the Dallas guide, highlighting the major sports teams and attractions in the Metroplex. The article is no longer online, but can be viewed via Archive.org at the following link:

He wrote for Examiner.com from 2009 to 2015, and then went on to freelance for several news sites, including TopStoriesUSA.com. He also founded several entertainment and educational sites. He also writes for Cinelinx.com, and is one of their lead reviewers for 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD releases. 

He joined the website Giant Freakin Robot in 2022 and currently serves as an editor.   

Among the websites he has written for are eHow, Movie Geek Feed, NBC5i.com, and Helium. His byline has also appeared in the publications Inside Frisco (TX) Sports and the Oak Cliff Tribune (Dallas).

Vic has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and The Dallas Morning News, and cited by TheWeek.comSalon.com, and PBS. In college, he served an internship at KXAS, the Dallas NBC affiliate. In 2006, Disney featured him in a documentary on the DVD set of the TV series Alias, his favorite show.  

In 2005, Dallas County Commissioner Ken Mayfield appointed him to the Board of Directors of the Dallas County Historical Foundation, which oversees the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, the site of the JFK assassination. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce (Dallas).
